Come See the Benefits of an All-Girls Hockey Program!
Our U12 Developmental team is for players age 12 or under who have no or limited experience with hockey. This team typically practices on Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings at the Outpost Ice Arena in Albuquerque. This team plays games in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Taos, and Los Alamos as part of the New Mexico Recreational Hockey League. Players from all over the state are encouraged to join the team for games, even if they cannot make practices in Albuquerque.
Our Colorado Girls Hockey League (CGHL) teams - U12 (ages 9-12), U15 (ages 13-15), and U19 (ages 16-19) offer the exciting opportunity to engage in recreational hockey against clubs from all over Colorado. These teams practice on Tuesday evenings in Santa Fe and Saturday afternoons at the Outpost. These teams play their home games in Santa Fe, and travel to Colorado four to five times per season to play in various places including Littleton, Boulder, Breckenridge, Vail, Gunnison, Colorado Springs, and more.
Our U19 Tier II team is a National-bound competitive team that plays in high-level tournaments 3 to 5 times per season. Players who qualify for this team are encouraged to also be a member of their age-appropriate CGHL team.
Our all-volunteer staff of coaches are certified by USA Hockey and have spent years developing their skills in coaching youth hockey, with a focus on the developmental needs of female players. We set a high level of expectation for the abilities and qualifications of our coaches. Our players and parents regularly note the level of attention and instruction provided by our coaching staff.
Our program could not operate without our numerous adult volunteers, most of whom are parents of our players. We have many opportunities to get involved, such as: team managers, game scorekeepers, locker room monitors, association board members, and more.
